Join us for Compound(ing) —a three-week-long fundraiser, exhibition, and online art auction in support of The Compound’s ongoing commitment to experimental creative practice. From November 2nd to November 22nd, The Compound will host an exhibition accompanied by an ongoing online art auction in support of our nonprofit operations. On Saturday, November 22, we will gather for a closing reception, featuring food, drink, and live music, marking a culminating moment of presence, celebration, and support.

As a small, artist-led 501(c)3 organization, our dedicated team of part-time workers and volunteers have defined the ongoing development and persistent vibrance of the Compound. In efforts to expand our capacity to support the arts, develop our programs, and offer full-time positions to our 4 dedicated staff, all proceeds from this auction will support the sustainability and stabilization of our general operations—nurtured by artists, maintained by the Compound team, sustained by the community, and open to dynamic transformation.

This is more than a wrap-up event for this year’s Multidisciplinary Arts Program—it is an artistic replenishment, a gesture toward building a deeper and more sustainable interface—both physically and affectively—between you and The Compound.
