Artist-tenants of the Compound have access to a number of shared resources, including physical provisions and creative opportunities.

Common Space

• 3,000+ square feet of usable flex-space: Courtyard, gardens, kitchens, throughways and common areas

• Restaurant-grade kitchen access

Creative Opportunities

• Private event space: artist-tenants may host small private gatherings in the common spaces, subject to calendar approval by staff.

• Public event space: Artist-tenants may propose public events such as exhibitions, screenings, workshops, concerts, markets, and lectures, subject to calendar approval by staff. Standard space rental fees are waived for artist-tenants, but some production costs may apply.

• Open calls: Each year our Multidisciplinary Arts Program offers at least one curatorial opportunity to artist-tenants through an open call for proposals.

• Exhibition opportunities: All tenants will be invited to contribute artwork to our annual Collective Exhibition.

• Program participation: Tenants will have opportunities to host workshops, lead panels, and participate in the production of our semi-annual open house, Outside In.

Standard Amenities

• Water, WIFI, and dumpster are included in rent. Electric is included in rent for non-residential art studios.
